A trip back to the 90s in the nicest possible sense. Thoroughly recommended

We had an amazing experience it Chaira, it was honestly better then expected. The food was really good! We ordered picanha and it was super tasty and served in perfect timings with a stick. The rod&iacute;zio on the table next to us looked super good as well (I am sure we will try it next time). The starters and desert were also very tasty. The place is cute and we had the bonus of a live music singer which made the experience even nicer. The service was very good and always on time. The price at the end matched our expectations and we plan to come back! :)

The decoration and ambiance are wonderful, and the typical Portuguese food is absolutely amazing, but the service is very far from being Michelin-level. The waiters and waitresses were kind, but extremely slow, inattentive and clueless about the menu options. It was very difficult to catch their attention when we needed anything, and they completely forgot to open our wine bottle, which they abandoned on our table after we ordered and only opened much later when the main dish was served.

So glad we went a little off the beaten path. Lovely people, amazing food, and a great wine list! Loved our meal and had a memorable experience that was one of the highlights of our trip!
